Izmir meeting in June 2008 - EBSO seminar

Project work started in 2005 as a school development project in cooperation of five schools:

• Grup Scolar Industrial Energetic Ploiesti, ROMANIA
• Izmir Özel Fatih Koleji, TURKEY
• TEE Epanomis Thessaloniki, GREECE
• Gymnasium Geo Milev Dobrich, BULGARIA
• Hessenkolleg Wetzlar, GERMANY

Hessenkolleg Wetzlar became the coordinating school. All schools except of Gymnasium Geo Milev Dobrich were successfully registered for the second and third year.

Detailed issues of the general topic Student Centred Learning and Teaching Methods were developed and evaluated in the project meetings, which were held in the different participating countries. In the project schools different approaches were trained in classes.

The final project of the third year was to establish international student teams to work on different aspects of the topic "Young People". Twinspace of eTwinning was used to establish and organize international teams an to work in detail on various issues.

The meeting in Izmir in June 2008 gave the opportunity to present the results of the whole project during a seminar for Turkish teachers of the region.
